The long Franco links on these shorter necklaces are made with 'corners', giving it that unusual 'box' shape that satisfyingly snakes around the neck.

This is an unworn, deadstock item from the 1980's. It is a lovely quality chain with thick gold plate and a secure clasp.
To avoid tarnish do not wear in the shower or bath and avoid applying perfume or toiletries whilst wearing.
Knowledge of the inner metal content has been lost to time, but I only source quality items that will be unlikely to have been made with nickel, although could contain a trace amount. If you are allergic (like me!) please be aware that I can't guarantee any vintage jewellery sold here would be suitable for you.
