Girlgang was a colour-pop printed streetwear brand I started back in 2005, back when feminism wasn't even fashionable yet (gasp!) 💖 It sold in boutiques in London, Tokyo and New York and I had a concession in TopShop Oxford Street 😎
I have decided to now revive the girlgang site to sell through my extraordinary hoard of gorgeous stuff, accumulated over the course of my career 🛍
I will be uploading a small amount of girlgang deadstock designs from the mid to late 00's on here and once they're gone, they're gone! I may get around to making some new stuff one day... who knows 🤷♀️
For the most part though, you will find my expertly selected gold mine of vintage treasure, mostly from the 80's and 90's. Some of it I will be hanging on to as part of my personal archive, sharing here as a source of inspo and info for all my fellow nostalgia style-nerds ✌️ - but the rest of it will be for sale and new drops will be appearing every 2 weeks as I dig through the crates.
I started out my fashion career in the late 90's, sharing a stall with a friend at Portobello market when I was a student, selling all the wicked second hand treasures we'd found at car boot sales. I began making and selling my own designs there which eventually led me to start girlgang, but the obsessive vintage buying virus thankfully never left me - I put it to good use by curating the very best of late 80's, 90's and 00's vintage, from Moschino to C&A, for my archive of hundreds of street fashion pieces. It has been on hire to various designers for reference over the years but now I am unleashing a lot of it back into the world to be worn and enjoyed once again, so get involved 🔥
