This is one of the most unusual vintage belts I've come across, made by the Escada diffusion brand, Laurèl. It has gorgeous brass tablets at fixed points along the length, spelling out the brand name with different textured backgrounds, and a chunky crazy patterned brass buckle too. The leather is a rich tomato-red and has a few patches that have faded with age to a more orangey hue - delicious :)
